Karl Flannery – Founder and CEO
Karl Flannery is a business leader, a technology veteran and the CEO of Storm Technology. As head of the organisation he is responsible for the vision, direction and development of the company, its people and its offerings.
His long standing expertise with Microsoft solutions, business acumen and 25 years of experience in the ICT industry brings to the company the depth of technology knowledge and strategic business skills required to drive its ongoing success. Karl began his career in the area of integrated voice and data terminals with Nortel. From there he branched out as an independent consultant working in the multinational arena on a wide range of software projects until he co-founded Storm in 1995.
John Devlin – Practice Director – eBusiness
John Devlin leads Storm’s eBusiness Practice and is passionate about the advancement of eBusiness solutions in enterprises. He oversees the direction of the company’s technology vision for the eBusiness Practice and is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex client projects.
A seasoned leader he has over 15 years of experience in the industry having worked with IBM and Xerox prior to joining Storm. John holds a Masters Degree (M.Eng.Sc) in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, a B.E. in Industrial Engineering, a Diploma in Business Systems Analysis and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Derek Finnerty – Practice Director – SharePoint
Derek is the visionary and technical strategist behind Storm’s SharePoint Practice. He has a wealth of experience in designing and implementing collaboration and information management strategies for clients that significantly enhance the effectiveness of their operations. Derek is a SharePoint expert and is responsible for the end-to-end management of clients’ projects and the delivery of demonstrable return on investment.
Derek is a long standing business leader with over 25 years of experience delivering business technology solutions to clients in Europe, Asia and the United States. He holds a B.E. in Electronic Engineering (Hons) and a Masters in Business Administration (Hons).
Keith Fingleton – Practice Director - Enterprise Application Development
Keith Fingleton is responsible for all aspects of Storm’s Enterprise Application Development Practice. He has a strong background in Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, Cloud Computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Keith leads the organisation’s cloud computing innovation. He is responsible for designing clients’ cloud technology strategies and the successful delivery of projects. He is a respected expert in the Windows Azure Platform.
An experience professional Keith has worked with market leaders such as IBM and EDS prior to joining Storm. He holds a Masters in Management Information Systems and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner, Scrum Master and is also ITIL certified.
Ronan O’Halloran – Practice Lead - CRM
Ronan is a passionate believer in the importance of the customer and is the driving force behind Storm’s CRM Practice. With deep experience in helping clients in the public and private sector achieve business success - through great customer relationship management - Ronan brings a wealth of knowledge and know how to Storm’s CRM Practice.
Ronan has over 14 years of experience in sales, account management, services and support roles and has worked with Microsoft, Dell, and Accenture prior to joining Storm. He holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree (Hons) and is a member of the Sales Institute of Ireland.
