Eurofound (The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions) aims to improve the living and working conditions of EU citizens through the provision of information, advice and expertise to support policymaking across EU institutions, governments, employers, trade unions and civil society organisations.
As an EU agency and public body organisation Eurofound adheres to strict operating procedures and project management methodologies. Therefore, the technology systems selected must support the enforcement of these procedures and methodologies from a regulatory perspective. A critical tool for Eurofound was the project management system needed for detailed reporting on their work's project-based nature.
As a research agency with a relatively small IT Team, Eurofound sought to harness the benefits of the cloud with a cloud-first ICT strategy. Already using Project Server 2010 for the past 6 to 7 years, the move to a cloud-based Project Management solution would deliver increased flexibility and scale. Eurofound set out to find the right fit cloud solution and implementation partner to help maintain the intricate level of detail and advanced functionality offered by the on-premise solution.

Eurofound's new system integrated with exisiting technology allowing them to get better value from all technology investments. For example, auto-replicating of project groups in Microsoft Teams for easier collaboration.
Moving to a cloud-based project management solution allowed Eurofound to address not only current but future needs with increased scalability, flexibility and on-demand access for the team regardless of location.
