What's Coming to Dynamics 365 Sales?
In today’s article we explore the upcoming features of Dynamics 365 Sales that will empower your team by equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in the world of sales.
In the fast-paced world of sales, it’s important that teams have easy access to the materials and resources they need throughout the sales process, especially when dealing with customers. An effective recommendation process can have a positive effect on revenue by supporting and even influencing ongoing deals. Generative AI has the potential to transform this process by identifying and recommending the appropriate content for each situation, and then personalising and summarising it, simplifying how salespeople access and use content. Available for public preview in January 2024, Dynamics 365 Sales will be offering AI-powered capabilities that will help sellers access the necessary content during customer conversations. Using generative AI, Sellers will receive content recommendations based on the context of customer interactions, even during calls. Further, sellers will have the ability to use natural language to search for and share content with customers. These features can not only save sellers time, but also help them to create smoother sales processes that can strengthen their reputation with customers.
AI-generated Account Summaries
In a role that relies on the strength of customer relationships, salespeople need to have a deep understanding of their clients’ problems and needs so they can provide them with the best fit solutions for their requirements. Yet managing multiple accounts at once can make this a tricky task. Sellers need to have the most up-to-date information on their accounts and be able to access the right information at the right time if they want to stay on top of multiple accounts. Dynamics 365 Sales will soon provide the solution to this problem. Sellers will have easy access to a central, consolidated source that summarises account information, including previous purchasing behaviour and leads. AI will even provide the latest news and updates related to the account. Sellers will be empowered to gain an understanding of critical account data quickly and easily, while keeping on top of all account-related news. Salespeople will no longer need to spend time manually sorting and compiling information about their customers to prepare for meetings. They will be able to focus on more value-added tasks such as customer collaboration and sales strategy. This feature will be available for public preview in January 2024.
Manager Insights Dashboard
Currently available for public preview only with general release scheduled for February 2024, sales managers will soon have access to a new manager insights dashboard in Dynamics 365 Sales. Managers can stay connected to their sales representatives through the manager insights dashboard for conversation intelligence. The dashboard will allow managers to:
Gain a comprehensive view of sellers' performance, along with insights into the conversation patterns and styles that lead to successful deal closure.
Examine the correlation between customer sentiment and keywords used, as well as any mention of competitors.
View sales-oriented filters like call duration, seller information, connected records, connected record status and campaign data over time.
Through the analysis of these compiled customer interactions and the behaviours of sales personnel, sales leaders can better assess the strength of their sales strategies, adapt to market changes, and provide more effective coaching to their teams.
