Comprised of Viva Connections, Viva Engage, Viva Insights, Viva Goals, Viva Learning, Viva Sales and Viva Topics, the Viva suite will now be expanded with the additions of Viva Pulse and Microsoft Viva Glint. Further, the Microsoft Viva experience will be enhanced even further with the AI capabilities of Copilot.
Below we explore the recently added Viva modules and the highly anticipated, upcoming AI features of Microsoft Viva.
Viva Glint
Viva Glint is the latest addition to Microsoft Viva and is now generally available worldwide. Viva Glint provides visibility into the overall health of your organisation by gathering feedback from surveys that are analysed in real-time using artificial intelligence, equipping business leaders, managers and HR departments with important information that will help improve engagement and employee satisfaction. The interactive, customisable dashboards provided by Viva Glint help you to understand current strengths, risks and trends within your organisation, as well as comparing results to external benchmarks. Not only that, but Viva Glint also uses AI to provide leaders with recommendations that can help improve weak areas and drive meaningful change across your organisation.
Viva Pulse
Also now generally available worldwide, Microsoft Viva Pulse is a new element of the Viva suite that provides managers and project leads with up-to-date feedback from teams and actionable insights that support them in their leadership roles. Managers can easily request frequent, confidential feedback using team and project-based surveys. Quickly send out a Pulse using pre-made, customisable survey templates that allow you to gain insight into your team's needs. Team members can easily share their thoughts and suggestions which will be analysed by Pulse and displayed clearly so that managers can easily see what actions they need to take to improve issues like team coordination and morale.
According to Microsoft, businesses with an engaged workforce perform up to twice as well financially as businesses with a disengaged workforce. Combining the employee engagement data provided by Glint and Pulse with the workplace analytics of Viva Insights will help you get a more holistic view of employee engagement. This means that you can better understand the habits of your staff and how they work, so you can take action towards creating an engaged and productive workforce.
Copilot for Microsoft Viva
To further enhance employee engagement, Copilot’s AI-powered functionalities will be rolled out across Microsoft Viva later this year. Here are some of the innovative features to come.
Copilot in Viva Goals will help employees to refine and set clear goals and allow leaders to track goal management across the business by drafting objectives and key results (OKRs). Copilot will help staff to measure their actual performance against their goals, even offering tips on how to overcome challenges and realise their objectives, so you can drive a productive, goal-oriented workforce.
In Viva Engage, Copilot will scan the topics trending within an organisation to help leaders draft an engaging post. You can then view an analysis of engagement metrics to better understand employee sentiment which will in turn help you learn what employees are most interested in so you can improve future posts. Further, there will be an Answers tab within Viva Engage that will use the AI capabilities of Copilot to help answer employee questions by recommending answers and existing resources, rapidly accelerating the information search.
Copilot in Viva Topics will also help employees find information easier and more intuitively, so you don’t have to waste valuable time searching for information. You can learn more about important topics through a conversational interface as well as viewing related, relevant topics. Moreover, Copilot in Viva Learning will make it easier than ever to upskill and train your workforce. Copilot will suggest learning collections specific to your career development needs, as well as concise knowledge summaries, enhancing the learning experience while you work.
