The Digital Women Award:

Highlighting the extraordinary achievements and contributions of women in the IT/Software sector, we are delighted to announce that we have not one but two nominees in this category.

A champion for technological change and innovation, Orla Shaughnessy has been nominated in recognition for her people-focused approach to driving meaningful business impact through digital adoption. Modelling a commitment to continual personal and professional development, Orla embraces best-in-breed change management practices and provides ongoing training and support to her peers. Fostering strong relationships across the entire stakeholder map of client accounts, Orla exemplifies our commitment to the delivery of customer service excellence.

A dedicated IT Project Manager, Karen's nomination is a testament to her strategic focus on process and operational improvement both for Storm and its clients. With one such initiative her identification of and roll out of DevOps to enhance existing solution delivery processes at Storm Technology. A strong leader Karen is committed to helping junior members of the team upskill, going above and beyond to ensure her peers have the confidence and skills necessary to drive maximum client impact.

We are honoured to count both Orla and Karen as part of our team and look forward to their continued growth and development - both within Storm and the wider community

The Tech for Good in the Community Award:

The Tech for Good in the Community Award aims to celebrate innovative and disruptive solutions that address significant societal challenges.

This nomination recognises our ongoing work with the Rape Crisis Network Ireland, developing sustainable technology solutions that deliver the data necessary to drive meaningful change at both a national and international scale. A collaborative project between Storm Technology and RCNI the creation of a modern survivor database has helped break down data silos across the network, and streamlined data analysis and processes while ensuring survivors are confident in the security of their personal data.

We wish to extend our thanks to our team for hard work and dedication, our clients for trusting us to support their digital transformation journeys and to the entire team at itag for organising what promises to be an exciting evening celebrating with our fellow nominees.
