Hosted annually since 2016, the Irish Accountancy Awards recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation and success across the Irish accountancy industry.

Best Use of Technology in Accountancy & Finance

The Best Use of Technology in Accountancy and Finance Award celebrates the most effective use of technology in accountancy or finance by any organisation.

This nomination recognises our work with Focus Ireland, a charity committed to providing essential services to homeless people across Ireland. With growing demand for the organisation’s services leading to increased pressure on the finance team, Focus Ireland partnered with Storm Technology to modernise financial processes with D365 Business Central. The project saw the creation of a unified finance system that provides management with real-time access to organisational data that is crucial for decision-making. Through the integration of Business Central, Solver, Continia Document Capture and Expense Management, the organisation has enhanced budgeting and reporting and streamlined financial management processes. This award nomination is a testament to the success of the project and our team's commitment to maximising client impact through the strategic design, development and implementation of Microsoft solutions. We would like to thank our team at Storm for their hard work and dedication, our clients for trusting us to support their digital transformation journeys and the entire team at the Irish Accountancy Awards for organising what promises to be an exciting evening celebrating with our fellow nominees.
